Solar Street Improvement Project Construction Set to Begin on Tuesday, June 29 The City of Syracuse is scheduled to start construction for the Solar Street Improvement Project on Tuesday, June 29. The project consists of milling and paving Solar Street, from Hiawatha Boulevard to the intersection of Bear Street. New sidewalks, curb replacements, Americans with Disabilities Act-compliant curb ramp reconstruction and new pavement markings will also be included in the project.
