Puerto Peñasco’s Tallest Beach Condominium Reaches 24 Floors
Encántame Towers is adding extra amenities, storage units, heated lazy river, and the first-ever adult only Skytop Pools and hot tubs
Puerto Peñasco, Sonora, Mexico (October, 2020) – Encántame Towers, a modern luxury condominium development being built on Puerto Peñasco’s Playa Encanto Beach has completed the framing of the first 24-story beach front tower and multi-feature development in Puerto Peñasco, also known as Rocky Point. The first tower, named Velero (or ‘Sailboat’ in Spanish), will be flanked by two additional 23-story towers, Verano (Summer) and Viento (Wind), each of which will have approximately 100 condos available to own.
Encántame Towers is located on the pristine beaches of Playa Encanto, just a short fifteen-minute drive east of downtown Puerto Peñasco. Construction is well underway as framing of the first 24-story building has been completed. The Velero tower, which has already sold approximately 80 percent of the condos in the building, has added storage units to the underground parking lot, which is great for beach items and other storage. In addition, single car garages are available above ground, where resident can store their car, boat, jet ski, quad, or other equipment. The first owners are expected to take occupancy by the late spring 2021.

The developers also redesigned Encántame Towers’ planned commercial area to be more accessible to the public rather than having guests enter through a security checkpoint. Encántame Towers is the first of many developments within Encántame Resorts, the first beach front master plan community in Rocky Point. Most of the amenities will be completed with the Velero tower, and the commercial area, restaurant, and bowling alley will be finished with the third tower.
Encántame Towers will also be the first and only development to have Skytop Pools and hot tubs located on the 23 floor of the Verano and Viento buildings, which will be restricted to adults 21 and over. In addition to the Skytop age-restricted pools, the development will also feature five additional all-ages pools, four hot tubs, and two heated lazy rivers. Other site features include a commercial area featuring stores, restaurants, and entertainment such as an event center, a pet park, and more.
In recent history, Puerto Peñasco has seen a great deal of success when it comes to investment and development. From 2000 to present day, Rocky Point’s population doubled from 31,000 to more than 62,000. Annual visitors to the region have also increased, growing to more than 2.15 million in 2019.
