“Our ‘A Season to Sparkle’ program is extra special as it makes for our first Christmas welcoming guests, as we reflect on what has been a remarkable debut year for our hotel,” said the hotel’s general manager Javier Gimeno. “From refined Chinese feasts high above Pattaya to relaxed beachfront brunches with toes in the sand, every celebration with us this festive season will be one joy with Mediterranean flair.”
A 234-room urban resort that pays homage to Pattaya’s ethnic diversity and commands expansive views of the Gulf of Thailand, Meliá Pattaya Hotel stands 12 stories high on Second Road, near an array of attractions. Its host of world-class facilities include a diverse dining landscape featuring Yitong Chinese Restaurant and Sky Bar, DEN that specialises in Japanese-Peruvian Nikkei cuisine, and Sanehh Sarae that embraces the tastes of Thailand by drawing inspiration from the coastal villages of Bang Saray and the spice gardens of the East.
Situated on Beach Road fronting the ocean, LAY Beach Club’s crème de la crème is the hydro bar, an elegant cocktail pool where the water’s surface appears to seamlessly merge with the ocean. Dotted with submerged loungers, the hydro bar is surrounded by a white-sand area and deck featuring circle sofas and cabanas. The lounge and bar area anchoring the beach club exudes a Mediterranean feel and is crowned by a chic rooftop lounge affording panoramic views of Pattaya Beach.
