Build with wood and protect the climate! German Prefabricated Timber Association is organizing the first nationwide Climate Protection Day on September 19
Invitation to the press, radio and television for a preliminary media talk on July 28th in Berlin
One solution is building with wood . Because there is enough wood on our doorstep, it grows back and binds the climate-damaging CO 2 - or as the incumbent Federal Minister Julia Klöckner puts it: " Building with wood is active climate protection. If you build with wood, you act ."
Timber construction is active climate protection
The German Prefabricated Timber Association is therefore launching the 'German Climate Protection Day'. The aim of this nationwide day of action is to bring the important contribution of timber construction to climate protection to a broader public at the same time in all 240 DHV member companies.
The date of the 1st German Climate Protection Day is Sunday, September 19, 2021.
► At a preliminary press conference on July 28, 2021 , the head of the DHV will provide an overview of the planned course of the '1. German Climate Protection Days'.
