Palette & Paints: Summery Marine Blue Floor
We were so taken with this glossy blue landing floor in a Scandinavian beach house that we asked our go-to paint adviser Philip Reno (proprietor of G & R Paint Company in San Francisco) for a match. His recommendation: Fine Paints of Europe Hollandlac Brilliant Paint in BS0012 Pacific Blue from the British Standards Colors portfolio. The ultra high-gloss oil-based, enamel paint can be used both on the interior and exterior. Renos recommendation for a less costly alternative: Pratt & Lamberts 25-10 Anchors Aweigh.
